The II International Scientific and Practical Conference

“MEDICINE: FROM SCIENCE TO PRACTICE”

October 26 - 28, 2023, Yoshkar-Ola

 

The Medical Institute of the Mari State University invites teachers and researchers of higher educational institutions and vocational schools, practitioners, postgraduates and doctoral students, students and residents of medical and natural science faculties/institutes to participate in the conference.

The scientific and practical conference is aimed at exchanging information on the results of fundamental and applied research in the field of medicine.

Submitted papers will be subject to peer review and evaluated by the Organizing Committee and then published in the Proceedings included in the database “Russian Science Citation Index” (RSCI).

 

The papers are submitted in Russian or English.

 

Abstracts publication and participation in the conference is free of charge.

 

The conference includes the following sections:

Section 1. “Fundamental Medicine”, “Preventive Medicine”

Section 2. “Surgical Diseases”

Section 3. “Therapy”, “Pediatrics”

Section 4. “Obstetrics and Gynecology”

 

Each section includes student competition for the title of “The Best Student Scientific Report”.

Types of contribution:

 

• Attending in person – Oral presentation

• Online presentation – Virtual participation

• Participation in absence (publication only)

RULES OF PARTICIPATION AND PAPERS SUBMISSION

 

Paper Submission Procedure

1. To be accepted for the Conference the research papers written individually or co-authored and corresponding must relate to the Conference topics.

2. Each applicant can submit no more than three papers to the Conference.

3. You are welcome to specify the topic within the framework of the chosen topic.

4. You shall submit to the Organizing Committee of the Conference:

− the registration form in electronic form as a separate file (*.doc, *.docx);

− the materials of the article drawn up according to the rules.

5. The Papers of the Conference can be published in the Proceedings of the Scientific and Practical Conference “Medicine: from Science to Practice”.

The Organizing Committee has the right not to accept research papers that do not meet the requirements for participation in the Conference.

6. Conference venue: Mari State University (Tochka Kipenia (Boiling point), 71/1 Krasnoarmeyskaya str., Yoshkar-Ola).

 

Rules for the design of articles

The text of the article should be carefully verified and contain no errors. The authors are responsible for the accuracy of the data and the scientific content of the work.

 

A4 page size, margins of 2 cm on each side.

Times New Roman font, size 12 pt, line spacing 1.0, paragraph indentation 1.25 cm, width alignment.

 

The title of the work (in capital letters, bold), size 12 pt.

Author(s) – surname and initials (lowercase letters, bold italics), size 10 pt. Underlined speaker’s surname.

Organization, postal address, size 10 pt.

E-mail (italics), size 10 pt.

Abstract and Keywords are presented after one-line indentation.

The text of the paper is presented after one-line indentation. The volume of the text is no more than 5 A4 pages, including titles, authors, organization and contact information.

Reaction diagrams should be typed in the CS ChemDraw Pro editor.

Drawings shall have 300 dpi resolution.

Font in figures and tables – Times New Roman, 10 pt.

Papers shall be submitted in the format *.doc, *.docx.

 

Within the text of the paper, references shall be given in square brackets in Arabic numerals [1], [1, 2, 3-8]. Measurement units are written, if possible, in Cyrillic separated by a space, for example, 10 mmol/l, 150 µm, 2000 g, 20 %. Latin names (N. crassa), as well as de novo, in vivo, etc. are written in italics. It is recommended to use “quotes”.

 

References should follow the rules of State Standard GOST 7.0.5-2008 and shall be presented in the order of citation within the text of the paper.
