8.3 THE PRESENT PERFECT AND PRESENT PERFECT CONTINUOUS
COMPARE :
The Present Perfect
- denotes a completed action, a result.
□ The bottle is empty. Somebody has drunk the lemonade.
□ I have typed your letter. (=l've done it.)
The Present Perfect Continuous - has an implication of incompleteness. □ Somebody has been drinking from this bottle. It's half empty.
