Ra Uru Hu (Post 170) Shopping Days by Line
If you did statistical analysis of shopping, you will find that shopping is always at its peak on 4th and 5th line days. Always. If you’re a merchant and everybody was in the program, only 4th and 5th line days would be shopping days because they would really be the days where everybody naturally should shop.
Third line days are okay. You’re walking down the street and you look in a window and you see something gorgeous. It banged into you, you got to have it. That’s okay. That’s third line shopping.
Second line day, somebody calls you up and says, “Do you want to go shopping with me?” They call you out.
First line shopping is that you read the prices and statistics and you don’t do anything. You don’t buy a damn thing.
And 6th line shopping is that you’re so aloof that you wouldn’t buy it any way and you think everybody’s a fool who’s shopping.
You see, if you understand yourself, you get the joke. It’s a joke. And you can see that by not understanding mechanically how things operate, what we do. We do everything on the wrong days at the wrong time. We try to be what we’re not all the time, and that is the chaos. It’s the real chaos.
When you get to a 5th line day, 5th line and 4th line days, as I mentioned, these are shopping days, buying days. But the 4th line is the true buying day. That is, you can buy anything on a 4th line day, anything. But a 5th line day is very different because the whole nature of universalization is that universalization is not successful unless it is absolutely practical. So the 5th line day is practical shopping. Go shopping for knick-knacks on Thursday and go shopping for dinner on Friday. Wait for your fifth line day to do your practical shopping because that’s perfect.
The other thing about a 5th line day is that it is full of projection. So this is a day where everybody is speculating about everybody else. It’s a very good day to keep things practical, and other than practicality, stay out of sight.
On 5th line days is when people lose their reputations because if they’re not out there being practical, the world explodes on them. And people project on them that they are this or that or whatever the case may be. To do something frivolous on a 5th line day is to lose your reputation. And when I say lose your reputation, it means that your reputation gets scarred. There’s suddenly somebody who sees you as being less able, less willing, less capable, whatever the case may be.
And yet the moment that you can be practical on the 5th line day, offer a practical service, offer a practical solution, or do your practical work, your practical shopping, then everything is fine. Except the moment that it’s over, go back to your house and disappear.
On a 6th line day, you rest. You rest. And the way that you rest is that you get the best perspective that you can. Now that depends on the Type that you are. You either climb a mountain and sit on a hill, or you lie down in front of the TV, depending on what kind of view you want to have. But a 6th line day is just a day where you just sort of look around. It’s a day to be aloof. It’s a day to sit on the fence. It’s a day to just look and see what’s happened to you through the last five days of this transit.

(Post 171) The 62nd Gate: Reasonable/Unreasonable
So, for example, when we look at the 62nd gate as part of the logical process, when we look at that 62nd gate we look at a voice that says: I think, or I don’t think. I think it’s ok; I don’t think it’s ok. Think is a logical key. It’s logical. In other words, when you’re listening to somebody in conversation and they keep on saying, I think, I think, you’re going to find somebody who is logical because it is the natural frequency as an expression of the way in which the logical voice works. It says, I think.
But think about in this context what the quality is, because the quality is very revealing: Reasonable, unreasonable. Now what is the 62nd gate? It is the gate of facts. It is the gate of details. It’s the gate that gives the foundation to the conceptual opinions of the 17, and in working with those conceptual opinions, grounding those opinions in language. And that language in the way it’s expressed is that these are either going to be reasonable beings—I think this is the way it works and what do you think—or unreasonable. And of course, you get that a lot.
For example, 17/62s because they have their own way in which they substantiate their opinions, that doesn’t mean if you have the definition that what you’ve logically organized is a truth. It just means that you’ve logically organized something and you can express it. And you can express it reasonably or you can express it unreasonably and you begin to see character expression in a voice.
We know these people. And though every single one of them has the potential to fluctuate between the binary—the reasonable, the unreasonable—in other words, there is this potential always, we get to see in this life that there are those that are much more reasonable in the way in which the communicate and those that are much more unreasonable in the way in which they communicate. It’s a quality.
Everything about voice is something that the actor/actress has to discover, how one can take a word and change the word through the quality of the expression. This is how we put out information. If somebody says to you, oh, hi (happy voice), it’s like you get certain information. If somebody says, oh, hi (bored voice) you get another set of information. It’s something to recognize that we all do this; we’re all cued to the character quality of somebody’s voice; all of us.
One of the things that we learn when we study the nature of the crystals of consciousness is that the key that binds all cognition is acoustic—sound, frequency. When somebody is speaking to you it’s not their words that carry the greatest value. They carry a value, obviously, but the context of the words, the quality of the words, how comfortable are we with the unreasonable expression of fact. Some people like it, they respect it; some people don’t. In many cases it may be utter nonsense. But again, something to recognize about our voices is that our voices reveal our quality and most human beings are conditioned and are conditioned to speak out of voices that are not their own.
For years students have heard me in moments where for some reason, whatever, the program, being in their aura, I suddenly say something like, I believe, I’ll immediately stop and say, wait a minute, I don’t mean that. That’s not my voice; because it isn’t. When I hear myself say, I believe, I know I’m in trouble, because that’s not me, I don’t have that. I’m not a believer, it’s not my voice. It’s not built into me.
Again, it’s one of those things about coming to recognize yourself and coming to understand who you are, because who you are is expressed through the potential of whatever voice may be for you. Now, not everybody has a defined Throat, obviously. But there are very, very, very few examples of somebody with absolutely no activations of the Throat. It’s a very small percentage. And obviously they operate, have to operate in a physical way of communication. It’s very different from the vast majority. But I don’t want to get into anomalies.

(Post 172) The Earth is Where You Ground Your Incarnation
The Earth is nothing but a living design. And it is truly where we get our grounding; that is, in the relationship between the sun and the Earth. The sun is impressive, we all know that. And it’s even more impressive in the concept, and now in the scientific fact of, the streaming of neutrinos that are produced by the Sun, the material of them penetrating everything that’s here. But you see, so what? I mean, so what?
There are all kinds of stars in the sky. They’re all pumping out neutrinos. You see, the program of light, well, yeah it’s great. It’s very nice. But it can just go passing by. I mean, on the other side of the world now, light has just passed them by. If you don’t have the form, then the program has nothing to program. It’s meaningless. So the Earth is everything in that matrix. Oh yeah, it’s chicken and egg, we know that, but then again we are a yin-yang biverse.
We are a basic fundamental duality. And you can never forget that in this fundamental duality, we’re on the Earth’s side, not on the sun’s side. We live over here. And it’s here that it is all grounded. It is here that the program is given its opportunity to work through us, through life here.
And it’s one of those things to be clear that when you’re looking at the Earth in your design and somebody else’s design, to understand its significance: that Earth is where you ground your incarnation. In other words, it’s where you literally can find the stability that brings you the potential of fulfilling purpose. Not knowing purpose, we’ve talked about that, but fulfilling purpose.
They discovered that in the center of the Earth there is a liquid iron crystal, and it’s 2,000 miles across. Can you imagine? A liquid iron crystal. I mean the Earth is quite an instrument for life.

(Post 173) Gate 44
The 44 is so old. And there is the fear of the past. It’s so old it’s ancient. It was in dinosaurs. It’s really old. It’s like this gate has been there for hundreds of millions of years. It is so old. Whenever I touch the 44 from my 26 it’s like I can get lost in there. It’s so old.
It’s ancient, ancient, deep, deep ancient fear. It has witnessed thousands of extinctions. When you're looking at the 28.6, what you're really looking at is the 28.6 being next door to the 44.1. It’s the 28.6 saying, oh, all that death, it must be hopeless, it must be pointless, all these species that never made it. They’re not here now.
My 26 goes into the 44 and I touch this world of dinosaurs. 300 million years they ruled the world, for 300 million years. We barely have 90,000 under our belt; 4 million if you really, really stretch it to little brainless monkeys. 300 million years, wow. We think that we run Mother Earth. They were the world. It was one rock, one rock, going on vacation in Mexico, one rock, whack, and two years of no sunlight. Say goodbye to reptiles and say hello to fuzzy warm little rat like creatures—my great, great granddaddy.
So, when I touch the 44 it’s like—I always told the story about the 44 the 26. The 26 goes fishing and comes back and says you should have seen the one that got away. And the 44 walks in the room just is he saying that and his hands are slowly moving like this. And when that 26 looks down that deep hole of the 44, it’s the only thing that the egoist ever bows its head to. It’s like, I better leave my arrogance at home right now. What makes you think that me, this great warrior, the 26, the great warrior—I’m a great warrior. I will survive anything. The tribe will live forever. Yes, yes, yes, yes, tell that to the dinosaurs. Talk to them; 300 million years they thought they had it made. It was their planet.
Every time I see a bird it’s like looking at the homeless. There is this dysfunctional rapture. It used to rule the whole damn world. The best it can do now is shit on your head. You see them and they’re pissed. The bird flu is a real revenge of the dinosaurs. It should have been clue to everybody when we found out that birds and dinosaurs are really the same track.

(Post 174) The 23-43 Individual Mind’s Anxiety is Melancholy
The third aspect of mind is the individual mind. And, of course, the individual mind, given what we know about the nature of individual chemistry and melancholy, is that here we have a different quality of anxiety. In other words, the individual mind suffers from mental melancholy. Now, it's fascinating to see and I know many people who have such designs. They will have an individual mind, the 43-23, because as we've seen and because it is an opposition in the wheel, it's very, very common.
So you have the 43-23 and then it's cut off, and the rest of the definition or the rest of the split is either collective or tribal. And you can have people who, in their physical communal life and their career, all of those things, even in their home life, seem to be just fine. They feel good to you. And yet at the same time, they're having enormous, deep, mental anxiety that's driven by chemical melancholy. These can be very, very, very sad people, mentally.
Now remember, the mind isn't the life. So, the life can look very, very different. Unless you catch these people at the right moment when you see them go into the state of their melancholy, only then can you catch a glimpse of that, because there's no motor. It's different from somebody who is physically melancholic.
As an individual and as a single definition, manifesting individual, when I go down into my melancholy, you feel it. It's physical. It carries the Ego power. But of course, when somebody goes mentally into melancholy, because it is powerless or can be powerless without a motor, it can be something that is hidden away, and these are people who can be very, very, very ill. They can be very ill because they don't really, fully fall into the physical melancholy and get to process it properly. It stays at the mental level, and at the mental level it simply becomes a question of whether life is something that one can be happy in or whether life is only sadness. And it is really the deepest theme of the split off 43-23: the happiness of life or the sadness of life.
In order to avoid the anxiety that that brings, one can never get one or the other, whatever the case may be. The anxiety that that brings is very, very profound. It brings a deep need to know, what does it all mean; to know. Not so much to remove one or the other, or to have one or the other, just to know why they're there.

(Post 175) The True Creators of Human Disease
And one of the things that that means is that 34-57s who do not live out their Type, who do not live out their generative life, that they do severe damage to their splenic system and they bring the archetype of disease into human life. They are the ones who are the true creators of human disease.
And when I say creators, it’s not like I want to blame them because it’s not about blame. It’s simply that they are deeply mutative, and they are the mutative archetype of survival and this is a binary system. They can be the archetype of mutative survival or the archetype of mutative destruction. And because it’s involved in the immune system, they can bring mutative processes that damage the immune system. That would never happen to an undefined splenic system, but the defined Spleen is the carrier.
Just as it’s important for us that Solar Plex definition awakens to its nature in order to protect us, the same thing is true for the splenic being. If they are a generative splenic being, they must honor that Type because in not honoring that Type, they prolong our struggle with disease in this life and make disease one of the major enemies of humanity. So this archetype is very significant.

(Post 176) No Direct Access to the Nature of the Root
Now, let's think about the nature of Root energy. We talked about how certain centers that are undefined, that when they are defined through connecting to somebody else or the program, that certain centers respond in different ways. We've already seen that awareness centers—the Spleen, the Ajna, the Solar Plex—respond by being conditioned to giving authority to those awarenesses. And that can be quite profound in terms of what happens to you when you give false authority to an awareness, whether that's the feel-good of the Spleen, the concept of the mind, or whether that is the wave of the emotional system. In other words, that those centers when they are undefined, are always open to, not so much that the conditioning is more powerful, but that the conditioning is taking place in areas where we naturally seek out our authority, so that we can really be conditioned away from our true authority.
When you're dealing with the Root Center, the undefined Root Center does not recognize—and I know, I have lived this in my own life—does not recognize the defining of the Root Center as such, only its by-product. In other words, the stress out of the Root Center can only be experienced through whatever channel it goes out of, but it can't be experienced as the Root. I know what it is to experience the Ego, but I only know what it's like to have my Spleen under pressure, or my Sacral under pressure, or the emotions under pressure. In other words, we don't have this direct access to the nature of the Root.
Back Problems. It’s one of the most interesting processes that I've had in my mystical life. In the early 1980s, I think. Well, anyway I don't remember. I damaged my spine. Sarah was there when that happened to me. I don't know, how old you were, six years old? Something like that, five years old? I was in bed for two or three months. I lived on morphine. I lived in a dark room all day. I was in absolute agony. I went to all kinds of specialists and they told me that I had damaged, had crushed the disc at the base of my spine, and that they wanted to cut into my spine and to replace it. Put a Frisbee in there or something.
The whole thing about that is that the disc separates the two components of the spine, the bones, and the nerve endings can touch each other. And that creates a great deal of pain and sciatica and all this stuff. You build up calcium deposits in that, and you can avoid the pain for a certain amount of time, but it's very easy to break the calcium and get into the pain again. Now, I've been dealing with back pain all my life, since that time. It's one of those things that was there. I didn't do any surgery. Yeah, I toughed it out for about six months. I found a guy who gave me some hints that were very valuable, putting a pillow under my knees and stuff like that.
Then within a couple of years of that, I disappeared. I end up as a wild man living in a tree. I'm running up and down mountains. Now, the doctors had told me that I would never run again. They told me that I would never lift anything over five pounds again without bringing damage to my spine, and that if I was lucky enough to avoid all that, I'd be a crippled old man. Sons of bitches. So anyway, remember if you tell somebody every day that they're not well, they're not well.
So, there I am running up and down mountains, and lifting things, and carrying things, and going through all of that process. Now, the physical damage that I took there, I have an undefined Sacral and Root so the kundalini there, I'm not able to handle that if I'm not living out my life properly. The moment you get ill, the moment you get sick is when you're not living out your Type, and that illness is going to come out of those centers where you're being identified.
So the stress of the life that I was living in at that time, there was an enormous amount of stress and pressure on me to work too much. My Sacral was being defined. The Root was being defined, and obviously, I was into something that truly was not for me. The net result of that was that I had to lie down for three months. So the damage doesn't go away. The difference is that in living out my nature, and in living out my Type in all of these years since then, it's rare that it disturbs me to the point that I am really uncomfortable. It doesn’t. It doesn’t stop me from walking, running, lifting or any of those other things, because now at least my system operates properly and I'm not putting that kind of pressure on that undefined Root Center.
Now remember, if you don't have access to the Root, it's very difficult to work with it and heal it. It's difficult. And it's one of the things to see that we are all in a pressure sandwich, and that pressure sandwich is the pressure between the Head Center above and the Root below. And we're squashed in the middle of that, and we're pressured into, like now, being good ants. Go to work.

(Post 177) The Non-energy Type Implodes
Then there is enormous bitterness in the world. We’re the lucky ones. We live in a peaceful affluent society. The world is full of bitterness because bitterness is a human theme and it’s a much greater theme than anger or frustration. It’s just not as powerful and in that it’s insidious. It eats up the people on the inside rather than exploding on the outside.
And this is the difference between being an energy Type and a non-energy Type. The energy Type explodes outwards. The non-energy Type implodes. Instead of dumping the pain out, they suck the pain in.
If you can recognize how many designs have projected channels, then you see that part in anybody’s design where they must have recognition and early recognition. The moment that you see a projected element in a child like the 16-48 that I mentioned earlier, that’s the moment you recognize their potential talent. And in recognizing that potential talent, give them the energy they need to pursue that talent. You see, this is the great gift of Projectors. They are here to be recognized, but that’s a mechanical thing. And again remember the nature of an aura.
If you’re a Projector and you step into the aura of an energy type, they know right away and so do you, you’ll get immediate access to their energy and they realize you’re getting immediate access to their energy. Now that is designed to be mutually beneficial.
Projectors are here to understand the nature of energy because they’re not energy types. Remember that the whole business of wisdom, to be wise in Design terms, is that wisdom is the potential in what you do not have. The gate you do not have, the center that’s undefined, whatever the case may be.
The Projector, because they do not have access consistently to either the Sacral or the Throat, that’s what they know. That’s what they’re here to be wise about, that is the moment they stop identifying with it. And the wisdom that they can have in understanding the nature of the Sacral and the Throat is understanding how best the energy of the Sacral and the Throat can operate.

(Post 178) The BodyGraph is a Sensory System
But Strategy and Authority immediately aligns the vehicle to what is correct for it, immediately brings it in touch with its cognitive resource. If you take all of these streams and then you move them into their circuits, the first thing to recognize is that the BodyGraph is a sensory system, period. It is nothing but a sensory system. This is us. We are filters of consciousness. We are incredibly powerful sensory mechanisms, everything about us. And this is what we have in our BodyGraph. These are the tools that are there, to keep us alive, to keep us alert, and to keep us in touch. To give us the possibility of going beyond the homogenized field and beginning to experience the treasure, the treasure of what it is to be us.

(Post 179) Outer Authority
Outer authority is an extraordinary thing. It is what the separation of the Ajna and the head ultimately are all about. So that they don't have to be down here in the business of what it is to run a life, to stay secure, to stay healthy, to be in the right place, to know your direction, to find your rhythm, to have the behavior, all of the keynotes that are in here, all the things about what's necessary in order to exist as an identity on this plane, separate, cut off and resistant. I don't want to be that; I want to be something else—that’s the mind. I wouldn’t do that. What makes you think I have to do that? I can do anything that I like. That’s the mind, cut off, resistant.
The moment that you enter into this process of living out your Strategy and Authority, what you're beginning to do is you're beginning to bring your mental system, that is, your passenger, to a place of recognition, a place of recognition that they are not needed for these basic functions on the mundane plane. That they are not needed for these decision making processes of navigation on the mundane plane. And if they’re not needed for that, there must be something for them.
We do not know what it is to have a liberated mind. And what I mean by liberated mind is a mind that is freed from its mundane concerns, a mind that is not caught up with “I have to figure out what I need to do.” This is not what mind is about. And the moment that you really see the circuit board you see it.
It's totally disconnected from the life itself. It’s a floating observer, floating above all of it and in its folly as not-self pretending that it actually knows what the hell is going on. And of course, we well know, any basic understanding of Human Design will tell you that the not-self—you look at those open centers or the missing bridges or whatever the case may be, and that not-self creates the priorities for that mind, distorts it, strips it of its cognitive potential, totally turns around what is its motivation and leaves the being lost.
The fact that the homogenized world is all made up of these lost beings, they’re all lost together. They don't think they're lost at all in most cases. You have to be quite sensitive to actually get to a point of understanding that something's wrong. And yet, the most important thing to understand about this resistance is that if you see it mechanically you also understand something else. This resistance is very, very important.
It's not meant to be a resistance that gives the mind an opportunity to dominate the form. It’s a resistance that’s meant to point the mind away from the form and point it out through the trajectory and the view that it has, pointed out at the world that it's intended to experience so that the passenger consciousness can experience that uniquely and offer that as awareness, that perhaps it is inspiring for the other, perhaps it is interesting for the other. And this is a mind that can only operate at this level when it does not have an agenda. Again, you see it in the mechanics and you see right away mind is not meant to be involved in the day-to-day operation of the vehicle. It is not. It really is a passenger.

(Post 180) The 3rd Line: The Pessimist
When we come to the 3rd line and we come to the Pessimist, again, the 3rd line is not allowed to ever think that everything is ok. For the 3rd line it can never be this way. And there is nothing more important to them when they are taking in the outside world than to take in the outside world with a deep pessimism. This is in their nature, and it’s essential for them.
The other thing is that this pessimism is one of the healthiest things for a 3rd line being. It is healthier than just about anything that the 3rd line being possesses as its attribute in its nature. The reason for that is that if the pessimism is exalted, if it’s simply surrendered to and accepted in terms of the way in which one takes in the outside world, then it doesn’t set one up for a fall in the disappointment that love doesn’t work or careers don’t work or this doesn’t work or that doesn’t work. There is this very clear, “Yeah, well, I didn’t think it was going to work,” and it’s not about, “I have a problem.” It is simply about being pessimistic about life’s possibilities. Being pessimistic about life’s possibilities is the way in which the 3rd line being takes the other in. This is not about externalizing.

(Post 181) Undefined Splenic Center Buzz
I do this next spiel for a student who is always complaining to me that I always spend so much time talking about undefined Solar Plex Centers and leave out the poor undefined Spleens. So let me deal with undefined Spleens. The undefined Splenic Center gets the same kind of buzz that the undefined Solar Plex Center gets. The only difference is that with the Solar Plex buzz you get the wave, and with the splenic buzz you get the spark in the now. So the undefined Splenic being, when they enter into somebody’s defined Spleen, it doesn’t only make them feel good, it makes them feel better than good, and it’s only momentary which is why it’s so seductive.
The undefined Splenic system steps into the defined Spleen and has exactly that instant to get the movie, because in that instant they get the buzz. And in the moment they get that buzz they have to read it, because if not, that feel-good is just as dangerous as going into somebody’s emotional wave when they’re up. They do the same thing. They create a sense of false authority. The false authority in an undefined Spleen can be devastating. Somebody makes you feel good because they define your Splenic Center, and they take you on a feel-good ride. Remember, what makes you feel good is not necessarily good for you.
The thing about being emotionally conditioned is that you do get it eventually. If you’re undefined emotionally and somebody is taking you from the up to the down, you figure it out because you’re going down with them. But the undefined Splenic Center doesn’t get that chance. They get that hit, and only in the moment that they get the hit, because it’s a spontaneous awareness, only then can they suss it out. Because after that it’s masked, and then they’re caught in the feel-good of being conditioned by somebody’s defined Splenic Center. That’s the moment—like somebody undefined emotionally who gets defined—depending on the nature of the feel-good or the wave, you give it authority and it makes decisions for you.
Now look, the Splenic Center is deeply seductive when it comes to false authority, because it is the only awareness we can really trust to keep us alive. That’s why I tell people with an undefined Spleen that the most dangerous thing for them in life is to be spontaneous. It’s right there and it will be expressed in the whole genetic continuity. Don’t be spontaneous—it’s so dangerous.
Do you know how many people walk around with the 20-34 and no 57? With an undefined splenic system? What kind of a cruel karma that is? And don’t tell people who have that that it’s a cruel karma. Don’t do that to them. Remember, make them feel good. But think about what that’s really like.
There’s that 20-34, and it doesn’t have that feel good, and it wants desperately to act in the now because the 20th gate is the only existential gate, and it’s backed up by power and busy, busy, busy, busy. And these are people whose spontaneous acts are enormously disruptive; I mean enormously disruptive. I have had 20-34s in classes in the early years, where I came as close as I’ve ever come to throwing people out. Just utter chaos out of all of that. Utter chaos. Jumping at doing things, and of course there is no awareness, consistent awareness that can be trusted that can guide that.
So the undefined Splenic being can suffer just as deeply as an undefined Solar Plex being. Keep in mind that symmetry. The difference is that the suffering of the undefined Spleen is in the moment. You can cut them very deep in the moment, whereas with the emotional system, it takes time. It has to go through the wave. It’s not spontaneous.

(Post 182) First Line Day — Researching Chameleon Day
So the Sun and Earth beginning their process in the first line, the first line of any hexagram is going to tell you that not much is visible. This is the chameleon day. If this is a Rave week of six different line positions of the Sun, then each of those days, in a sense, have a structural value to them, and of course the first day is always the foundation of it.
Remember, if you think about the impact that any connection has to your Design, it’s really important to see that the moment that first line is going to be there and it’s going to be out there everywhere is that that’s always saying that you’ve taken a shift. You’ve gone from the Sun being in two very different hexagrams and all of a sudden there’s this shift and it makes a real difference. It’s waking up to a new day. It’s waking up, in that sense, to a new Rave week.
So pay attention to that first day because if you’re trying to do things on the first line day, you’re going to be less successful. That’s a day to find the foundation. That’s a day to do your research. That’s a day to get comfortable with the transition to the first line theme.
As a matter of fact, remember that if you’re dealing with a hexagram and you’re dealing with its structure, we know that the lower trigram has no real transpersonal gift. That the lower trigram is self-absorbed. It’s in its own personal destiny. It’s involved within itself. And so what that means is that the first line of any Rave week is really there not to go out into the world and meet the other, but to be the chameleon. To be looking for a solid foundation, because after all, the first line theme is to be an authority.
One cannot be authoritative unless one has a grasp of what the foundation is. So if you step into the first line theme and you go running around like a mad dog, what happens to you is that you don’t have the authority because you haven’t given yourself the opportunity to get accustomized to that transit.
Now, obviously, that’s going to be very significant to anyone who’s going to have the harmonic gates to any of those positions. If you’re somebody who has the 54th gate, the harmonic gate to the 32, or you have the 53 as a harmonic gate to the 42, then it means that it’s exceedingly important that you recognize that that’s a first line theme and wait until you’re later into that transit, later into that Rave week before you universalize. In other words, wait until it becomes upper trigram.
In describing all of these things, I’m just describing natural mechanics, and actually the natural mechanics of dealing with a transit will operate if you’re living out your Type. It’s a lot easier for you to naturally be restrained on a first line day if you’re living out your Type.
