Ra Uru Hu (Post 157) Don’t Compliment the Stream of Taste

Remember, that to be truly creative in the logical sense you have to be able to identify. And the more identified the 18-58 is with the correction that needs to take place, the more obsessive they become. They can drive you mad. There is is no way to reach the perfection. There is only perfecting as a logical way. The moment that the identification is with the perfecting process and not with perfection, then the 18-58 doesn’t end up whipping themselves all the time. It’s very, very, very hard for them, considering that this is the root of criticism, to be good to themselves; hard for them. That includes the 16-48, as in the whole stream. Hard for them, they always realize that something could be better, always.

The grass is always greener, and it’s a driving force. It can always be challenged. It can always be corrected. You can still do it again. It’s not right yet. They’re the most difficult people in the world to compliment. I have a strong Neptunian 48. I hate compliments, they make me uncomfortable. This is typical of that stream, because the reality is that every time you get the compliment, there’s a part of you that says, “Yes, but you know. Yes, but it could be better, I could have done this, I could have done that, I wish I’d done this, I wish I’d done that.” Jesus, never say to anybody in this stream after they’ve cooked a dinner that it’s good.

Don’t you dare tell them that it’s good. Just grunt and go about your business. Because if you tell them it’s good, they’re going to tell you why it’s not good. Some of them even tell you before you eat it. It’s frightening. “Well, this was a little long in the oven,” and I’m going, “Ohhhh, why are you telling me this now? Do you have to share that with me?”

(Post 158) The 2/4 Profile

It’s the thing about the 2. The classic example of this is the 2/4. Oh, there are probably a billion and a half 2/4s in the world. That’s a lot of human beings. Every major profile like the 2/4 has about 14% of the population. So, we’re talking about a lot of human beings who are 2/4s. Now, think about all that natural talent and genius, all those natural gifts, all that wonder that's out there. But there’s something that is very basic about the 2 because it is part—again, going back to the tonal architecture—it is part of a primary survival architecture. And the moment that you look at the 2s within the Independent Variable or through the nodal system, you begin to really understand that the hermit as a construct is something that is very, very much a part of the way in which our civilization has evolved.

In other words, deeply rooted in what in the language of Design is known as the “hardscape, these sheltered enclosed relatively safe environments, the way in which our world has been built, the 1st and 2nd themes tonally and the 1st and 2nd themes in terms of Color, the way in which they operate through the nodal system is defining an environment in which the hermit is in a closed-in environment waiting to take advantage. The 2/4 is always waiting for that particular opportunity.

Every 2/4 is caught in the investment program. Who do you invest in? Who do you give your energy to in order to be able to derive your opportunity? One of things to recognize about the 2/4 is that if they're not correct, they don't get the call. So they end up being committed to a lot of things. I like to call the 2/4 the missionary. That's the example of the hermit when it’s called. The moment that it gets its call That’s right for it, oh boy is it up and moving. Unfortunately that's what it looks like the first 3, 4, 5, 15, 25, 30 times that they do that as not-self jumping up because they think they have the call, and then running back and closing the door and hunkering down and swearing that that’s it for that.

It ends up with that terrible reputation, the paper tiger reputation. The 2 that can’t live up to its “this and that.” Everybody sees the 2. Everybody sees intelligence. Wherever there's a 2 in your Design, if you have one, other people are looking at that and they're projecting on it. They're projecting on it and then they call you. And if you're not correct and if you're not aware then you jump on whatever that happens to be. And yes, you’ll end up a paper tiger because it isn’t going to work.

(Post 159) The 17-62 Anxiety wants Others to Understand

Human beings are funny, no? The 17-62 says, "I need to be able to reasonably get other people to understand me, and I'm anxious as hell if I can't reasonably get people to understand me. Then I become unreasonable, or they seem to be unreasonable." This is the place where the facts can get manipulated out of the anxiety. “They're not going to understand my formula. They don't understand my formula. Let me cheat the facts.” So these are our embezzlers. The cookers of books. They're great at that. Good deal makers. They can play around with the formula. They can play around with the facts.

Of course, when they play around with the formula and they play around with the facts, they live an anxious life; paranoia. Isn't the mind a great place? So if they don't understand you and you cook the books, even though they seem to understand you, you spend the rest of your life anxious that they're going to catch you.

(Post 160) Live Your Type to Relieve Mental Pain

There’s no more pain than the pain that’s racing around at the mental level, the anxiety level that humanity is operating at. And so much of that can be alleviated so easily by them simply recognizing how to honor their Type and get the respect for their intelligence that they deserve. It’s one of those essential ingredients.

I was just thinking about schools and the way children are educated and trained and how all children are expected to be Manifestors in the classroom, as well. And how different we all are, and how different our digestive processes are, and how much mental anxiety is created in that situation.

It’s an essential ingredient for us to see that mind is a beautiful thing and not meant to be a torment for us. It’s meant to be a vehicle of our larger union. It’s not meant to be occupied with all this mundane stuff. After all, it’s not tribal, it’s not about that. It’s not about how you make a living and who you make love to and all of those things that make up the life of the body—it isn’t about that. It’s mostly just collective with the possibility of mutation coming in so that everything keeps evolving, but it’s about larger principles and larger issues.

(Post 161) The 46-29: The Mystery of Success in the Body

Look carefully at the crossing of the energy in the Sacral Center and the magic that you get to when you get to the 46-29. Everything about the abstract process is about our unique human experience. The 46-29 carries within it the mystery of success in the body.

Remember that the abstract process is never truly aware. It’s dominated by the emotional system and it’s dominated by desire. It’s dominated by the expectation that desire points towards. If it were not for the 46-29, the abstract process would really be well, a hell of a lot more chaotic than it is. There are several things.

The 29th gate is one of the gates of incredible mystery. I’d love to give you a mystical day on the 29th gate. It’s a gate that initiates the commitment to life. It’s a gate that initiates the onslaught of death. It is a gate that actually brings us our living nature, our Sacral nature into the world, appropriately called the abysmal. This 29th gate of saying yes. Yes to life, yes to experience.

When you have the 46 at the other end, you have one of the four gates of love. We’re dealing with the tantra of empowering a higher love of the body. The 46-29 can have a quality of sensuousness that is rare. And the 46th gate pushing upward is one of the great dichotomies out of the original I Ching in this channel. You have the abysmal, the deep within the deep, the 29. And then you have pushing upward into the kingdom of God on the other side, gate 46. There’s this incredible difference between these two gates.

The 46th gate at its mystical level is the capacity not simply to enjoy the mundane of the body, the potential sensuality of the body, but at its highest level that 46th gate is about recognizing the body as temple, but the body as inviable absolute temple.

This is the gate of Buddha who says the body is not yours. The recognition is that we are given as gifts these beautiful vehicles, all personalized, and the magic of accepting its beauty. That’s at the highest level. And there is nothing that carries more potential success in life than the 46th gate in its lines. No hexagram offers so many opportunities for success, even presumptions of success. See, the secret of the 46-29 is that it is existential. That’s its secret.

In order for experience to be of value to the collective, the experience has to be taken in purely. It means non-interference in the progress of the experience. Let the experience happen, don’t interfere, don’t stop, don’t think, just be there, just be in it. This is serendipity. The serendipity of just being there. And it is the only magic that is available to the 46-29 because the moment they’re not being there, the channel of succeeding where other people fail becomes the channel of failing where other people succeed, instantly.

The moment that the 46-29 is not living out its Generator role, the moment it’s not waiting for that opportunity to respond, to recognize what to enter into, it can’t be purely in the experience and as a result will fail. Now, when I say ‘will fail,’ just as the 46th gate carries the greatest opportunities, the 29th gate carries all the themes of disaster.

After all, the weirdest gate, the weirdest line of universalization, all 5th lines are the way we want to see experience. The way we want to see something. In other words, if you’re looking at the structure of a hexagram, the first line is always giving you the foundation that is the true nature of the hexagram. But by the time you get to the 5th line, you get to the projected field, you get to what everybody would like the hexagram to be.

So think about what the 29 is. The 29.1 is the draftee. It says you can be pulled into commitment, but you can get out. In other words, there are opportunities you can get pulled into things. If you really are in it, it can be a valuable experience. If not, you can get out.

How does everybody want to see the 29.5? As failure. That experience brings disaster, crisis, confusion. 29.5s in the detriment is failed ambition. So it’s very important to see that what you’re looking at in the 46-29 is the quantum of those two. It’s not like having either one. It’s very different. The moment you have that whole process there, the opportunity of the real experiential, pure experiential way is available out of the generation.

Because if you’re asked, if you’re given your opportunity to respond, and you’re a 46-29 and you enter into it correctly according to your Type, you’re going to be in the experience. You won’t know what the hell is going on. You’ll be totally lost in it. The Generator on the fly. But because you’ve entered into it properly, when the experience is over, that’s when the magic of what it is to be abstract comes alive.

The value of the experience is directly related to how deeply you are in it, because only later out of reflection can you then make sense, which is the theme of the abstract, make sense out of it. This is not the logic system where you go step-by-step and somebody has outlined a program for you. This is not the way it goes. This is being there in the experience because what you’re here to do is to be able to describe the experience afterwards.

If you’re trying to describe it to yourself while you’re doing it, you’re missing it. You can’t. A logical person can stop in their tracks and say there’s something wrong with the pattern. That’s correct for them. It is not correct for the abstract being. They have to be in the experience. Damn the consequences. Go down, fly with it, be in it, after.

That’s the whole business of the 33-13. The whole business being of prodigal, of being a witness, of being the voice of revelation, the voice of remembrance, the witness of the way. But the 46-29 provides no ammunition, no information, no fuel for that witness if it’s trying to figure out what’s going on. That’s not its job. That’s why 29s generally get into so much trouble in this life. They get into trouble because they’re always trying to make mental their decision process and by making it mental, fill it with the expectation and expectation is the curse of the abstract.

At the moment there is an expectation that an experience is going to be a certain way, that’s the moment as an abstract person that you do stop in the middle and say, “No no, you’re not supposed to do that on your left foot. Do it on your right.” Everything’s lost. For them, it may have been essential to see what it is like to do it on the left foot and live out the experience of that left foot and not jump in and say, “Look, I had the expectation that it was all going to be right-footed, and so I want to stop this now.” Completely unproductive.

Nothing is made available to the 33-13. No revelation is possible out of that, and of course, the net result of that is frustration with experience. “Why did I do that? It doesn’t make any sense, I didn’t learn anything from that experience, it didn’t live up to my this and that blah, blah, blah, blah.” And here you have all these people with all their failed expectations because they didn’t enter into it correctly and they didn’t understand that abstract principle.

There’s no need for the abstract to be chaotic. There’s no need for anything to be chaotic if it lives out its Type. The essential recognition in a 46-29 is that these are people that can always be recognized. They have a huge wealth of talent in them and they have no idea about the talent unless the talent is just coming out—in the now—without their reflection, without their identification, without anything, just being there.

The first line in the 46 says ‘art for art sake.’ To be in the experience for nothing else but to be in the experience. Not for what it’s worth, not for what it can bring because you don’t know. You don’t know, you can’t know. You can never be there. And remember, something so essential about the abstract experience is that it’s not personal—it’s not personal. If you take it personally, you fail. It’s not personal.

(Post 162) The Generator Aura: Open and Enveloping

If we go over to the Generator, the Generator has this incredible responsibility, without that being personal. I don’t mean that in the personal sense; in the sense of being a Type and a species. They have this incredible responsibility of generating the life force. That's what they do. So, when you look at all those other Types and you’ve got that open Sacral Center, you know that they’re deeply dependent on the Generator-dominated world. Sixty-seven percent of humanity is Generators. This is what’s making it possible for the other third to have a world that it can connect to. Generators carry all of that.

And because that is the work of Generators—it’s not really a “because,” it’s just a “what is”—their work comes out and is expressed in the way in which their aura operates. The open and enveloping as opposed to the closed and repelling, that’s as dualistic as you want to get. When you’re looking at the two energy types, it is black and white. And the Generator is the dominant force. Only 8% of humanity is Manifestors. The Generator is there with this huge enveloping aura.

So, the first thing that tells you about Generators is that they don't have barriers that stop them from taking forces into their aura. They have an open and enveloping aura. It’s an open aura. It’s one of the reasons why Generators have to know themselves so well, because that is their design, to know themselves well. And they’re there to know themselves well, because they take in so much of the other because they are open and enveloping. And in enveloping they just take it all in.

When you think about the not-self Generator, think about the not-self Generator as the ultimate gullible machine. The not-self Generator takes it all in, takes the whole homogenized trip in, takes the whole you-can-be-a-Manifestor-too trip in. Because it's their enveloping aura that literally envelops life on this planet, then what we get is this incredible patina of frustration that marks the nature of being, that we have a world that is deeply frustrated.

When you’re looking at somebody's aura you get their homogenized story right away. You don’t get their differentiated story. Then it’s only an aspect of that. But you get their not-self story. You’re going to meet all those Generators that are taking the wrong people into their life, so many wrong people into their life that they build up a backlog of poisons and pollutions that they’ve been storing since day one; no discernment.

(Post 163) The Differences in Verbal Gunslinger Expression

I was asked about the difference in the way in which the verbal gunslingers express themselves, these projected elements. The first thing is that the connections between the Self and the Throat, that these connections are always about the need of the identity to express itself and to express direction and love, and it can be an ongoing process; in other words, at any moment, that can come out.

The mental definition to the Throat, all of those are a frequency of a whole lifetime; in other words, you can wait your whole life to try to make sense of things or understand them or whatever. The mental verbal gunslinger is forever able to open up their mouth and start talking.

The only one that is specifically different is the Splenic Center connected to the Throat, both through the 16-48 and the 20-57. Then what you have is people, that as verbal gunslingers, they don’t always gun sling, because it’s going to be based on their splenic system, and it’s going to be based on a spontaneous action in the now.

There are certain situations that will bring out gunslinging in them, but they’re not as ready to be a verbal gunslinger as either the mind or the Self. So I hope in some sense that clarifies that for you.

(Long pause.) Yeah, sometimes you just have to sit and wait. I got off on a totally different,—I have no control over my unconscious mind so, where it starts going sometimes is always very surprising to me.

Some basic things about the nature of the connection now between the Ajna and the Throat. We’ve been looking at these channels between the Head Center and the Ajna in the context of how anxiety can be turned into madness, that the pressure of anxiety is something that can lead to distortion, and the distortion, ultimately, can result in having all kinds of mental difficulties. So often these people have a hard time living in the world.

There are a number of generations, particularly around 1960-1961, in which you have a whole generation, tens of millions of people, that have both the 64-47 and the 63-4 in their design. This is the 1960-1961 generation. So of course they carry with them all of that potential as a madness feel. There’s a lot of madness, a lot of craziness in the world, a lot of delusion in the world, and of course this generation is carrying all of that energy and programming all of that energy.

But the relationship between the Head Center and the Ajna is very, very different than the relationship between the Ajna and the Throat. It’s very different. You see, there is a tension that gets added the moment you step towards finding expression.

The tension between the Head Center and the Ajna, if there’s anything really to focus on; in other words, the anxiety is there simply to be able to make sense, understand, to know.

But the moment you get from the Ajna to the Throat, you have not only the anxiety of whether you’ve made sense, understand or know, but you have the tension there of whether or not you can actually get that to an expression.

Talk to somebody who has a defined Ajna and an undefined Throat, and they will tell you how difficult it is to be able to turn their inner language into an actual verbal expression. It’s very different, and it’s very difficult. That’s why these gates in the Throat have such special powers as metamorphic powers. They really do something unique, and they take what is fundamentally a visual in dealing with the collective, and they have to turn that into language. They have to express it in language. They have to articulate it with sound.

(Post 164) The Sacral is Sexual, The Solar Plex is Sexy

On the other side, you have the 6th gate and the emotional system and that’s where the sexy part is. A sexual strategy is never sexy by itself. When you meet somebody and they have a defined Sacral and they don’t have a defined emotional system, you’re not going to find them sexy; they may be sexual. But they’re not sexy. Sexy comes out of the emotional system. Sexy is where the pleasure wave is. And this is the wave that you get to pick up.

But sexual is right there in the Sacral Center. ‘Sexual’ meaning that built into us is a genetic system that says we must reproduce, whether we do or we don’t. It is a genetic imperative. If everybody stops having children, human beings are finished. So it’s a fundamental imperative in us.

My whole thing about people entering into things correctly,—I have a deep concern about children. I have had that most of my life. The fact of the matter is that our sexual bonding is so chaotic that the by-product is that children come into the world in which they are not properly loved or nourished. Can’t be, because of the tensions that exist between the very people that brought them into the world, and those tensions exist because those people were not clear in entering into their relationship. Not clear. There is nothing dumber than reproductive sexuality.

Oh, it’s beautiful creatively. I’ve watched my children come into the world. It’s really incredible. I think that’s one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever witnessed. It wasn’t as if I was patting myself on the back and saying, “Boy, that’s a good one, you did well this time.” Just the creative experience to see life come into the world and to recognize that it is a part of us. Oh, that’s very nice.

(Post 165) Look for the Beauty in the Formula

This is one of the things about lifting the spirit of people. You see, when I do a reading, no matter how shocking I am, I'm there to lift their spirit. We always can see the beauty in the formula. Look for the beauty in the formula of those you work with. They rarely see the beauty in their lives. Rarely do they see their own beauty. They've never lived it out. They’re always outside living something that they're not, and the very beauty that you find in yourself, that makes you feel good, to see the formula in that way, understand how powerful it is for a client.

Oh yeah, it's a bit of the trickster, but then again I am a bit of a trickster. It's the truth, it's just not the whole truth, but it helps sometimes when you can see that positive formula in somebody you're working with. Because you're shattering them by taking them through their design. You're turning their world upside down. And in turning their world upside down, yes, you can give them tools to become themselves, but remind them of their beauty. We are all truly special. I direct you into looking at your formula to see your divinity. Well, I don't mean to get too mushy, but it is there.

What we do see within ourselves is the potential of our formula. It's an important thing to hold in front of us, as the mirror that's the mirror of light, eh? The mirror of light that says, “Hey, look, what's in this formula? What's in this formula is really great.” And of course it's you. You're finally talking about yourself. To recognize your formula is to begin to really love yourself. It's a great place to start. You look at the high end of your formula and you say, “Yes, yes, yes. Me, I too can be the messiah, yes.” The nice thing about knowing your formula is knowing how to truly laugh at yourself because, you really can get the joke, eh?

When you listen to people give out their formulas, you've got succinct formulas, you've got these extended formulas. There are all kinds of complexity in them and, of course, it is a mirror of what we are. We are, after all, our definitions. That's what we are. That's quite a road to go down.

Work with your formulas, really. Turn them all around. Turn the keynotes all around. Turn them inside out, because you really get to see yourself. You get to see how other people see you after all.

Remember the value of the positive aspect of the formula, and giving the positive aspect of the formula to your clients. And when I say giving them that positive formula, it doesn’t mean you have to read it off. It’s about you seeing that it’s there. And you know so much about a design in front of you, the moment you can see that formula in them and flip it around in your head, move the keynotes around, so you get a real glimpse of that.

You see, it’s one of those things about what you are that is very hard to grasp. What we’re good at grasping is what we’re not. So it’s hard for us to really grasp it, being able to see your own formula, to put your formula together is a way that helps you see yourself, the part of you that you really don’t see, which is your definition. It’s what everybody else experiences in you. And it’s a way for you to see.

At the positive end of all of that, the advantage for both you and others is in the formula that is you. We all have an extraordinary capacity built into us. Now, we all do it in different ways; we all have our unique aspects of that. But your formula is very important and use it well when you’re dealing with clients.

(Post 166) Watching People Talk the Program

I went in this morning to get a cup of coffee and the waitress says to me, “God, it’s an awful day.” And I said to her, “What’s the matter?” She said, “I’ve been here since six o’clock in the morning and you’re the first person that came in.” And she said, “The cook fell asleep.” And I said to her, “That’s quite a risk.” I mean, it’s just all funny. There’s an energy at work. No continuity, there’s a waitress.

She makes her money on tips, poor girl, and there she is. She’s been in there all morning. There’s no continuity. There’s nobody showing up. It’s a real sign of failure, and it works at little things. It doesn’t have to be all the aspects that are working in her life. It doesn’t have to be all of these aspects that are working in yours, but it’s all those aspects are working in the program generally. You really see all of this coming alive when people are together. You know. Tell your story, Ed. It’s a great story.

Ed: Oh, hey, it’s devastating. Got up on Sunday, and the guy that does all the work, he didn’t send the stuff.

Ra: So he’s got a photographic show and the stuff didn’t get sent. Don’t kill yourself in your truck today.

Ed: This is all hard wired.

Ra: Right. That’s what it’s all about. People and their lives, everybody is going to live out some aspect every day, please understand that. Today’s fun because we can have some dramatic fun with these lines, but the reality is that this is an everyday process.

One of the greatest opportunities for research that I’ve had in my work was living in my village on the island in Spain. I would go into the cafe every day. I would go into the village at lunchtime, and I would pick up my mail or my messages, and then I would go sit in this cafe that I had sat in for over a decade. And I would watch people, and of course, I knew the program, and I knew all the people, and I would just sit there. I could sit there for hours and just watch the program come out of their mouths. I mean it’s amazing to see people just talk the program, and you could see it. You could see things that were going on.

People going in different things, and all you had to do was go back and look at the program and you could see clearly. Certain people are living out a lot of it. Certain people only live out an aspect of it, but it’s there, and it’s alive in the world at the moment. So, it’s one of the things to see about the power of the program. I mean, the power of this program. This ridiculous, absurd, vanity, that we have about controlling this or that, or choices, or all of this junk. I mean, it’s unbelievable when you put that into a proper context.

This formula that’s pouring in on us. It’s not like the old days where you could say, “Well, maybe these neutrinos aren’t...” Those days are long gone folks. You’re in the densest possible stream you can imagine. It’s so dense it’s beyond our comprehension to imagine. We don’t have any control over anything, and this program is so incredibly dense.

(Post 167) We’re Here to Commune with Each Other

I did a lecture yesterday evening on a sex and love and the true self. Talking about love and what it is to be a nine-centered being. Love is about awareness. We are here to commune with each other. We're here to deliver our lines really well to the other. It’s what we're all about. And everything about the perfection process, everything about what it means to be a true nine-centered being is that ultimately our minds are here to release our unique awareness. It’s what we lack in this life, after all.

The homogenized world is very dull. And the conversations of the homogenized world are always wrapped up in lies. They’re always wrapped up in the dilemma that when the mind is both inner and outer authority it cannot help but lie, because it's constantly protecting itself. It’s constantly limiting what it says or the way it says it because it’s calculating what that information will do and what impact that information will have when its released. The mental decision not to say certain things or to say certain things in a certain way in order to protect the possibility of what one thinks one is going to be able to do and so forth and so on.

The moment that you're really living correctly is the moment that you have the potential to truly release your unique awareness. It is ultimately what we're all about. It's ultimately what this knowledge is all about. This is what awakening is. To be an awakened being is to be a being that is no longer absorbed in the mental trip of trying to keep all the balls in the air. This is just what awakening is. The balls will stay in the air anyway. You don’t have to worry about it.

I like to physically juggle. It’s an interesting thing. When you first learn how to juggle you get caught up in the mind. The mind is seriously involved in trying to see where everything is and trying to adjust and all of these things. And then suddenly you get to this point where, like riding a bicycle, that you don't think about it at all. You realize the form principle can well look after it. And while you're juggling you can do other things mentally.
