ANNOY

My name's Maria and l live in Thessaloniki. It's a great city. There are lots of things to do. I live with my sister Dimitra and my brother Costa. They both work here, and I study English and Business Management. We usually stay in the

city during the week and then sometimes at the weekend we go back to our family house in the mountains near Askos. It takes about an hour to drive there. It's a beautiful place but the village is very quiet and small. There's not much to do there.

ln our family home, I have a big bedroom with my own TV. My sister's room has its own bathroom as well, but I prefer mine.

It's nice and quiet and l can relax, listen to music, read, do whatever I want there.

Our flat in Thessaloniki is very small. I share my room with Dimitra but Costa has his own room. Ours is nice and tidy, but his is really messy! Men!

We take turns to cook and clean and do the washing-up. I love living with my family, but sometimes my sister annoys me. She spends hours putting on her make-up and washing her hair and we only have one bathroom!

GUIDING STAR

If I had to live my life without you near me
The days would all be empty
The nights would seem so long
With you I see forever oh so clearly
I might have been in love before
But I never felt this strong

Our dreams are young and we both know
They take us where we want to go
Hold me now, touch me now
I don't want to live without you

Nothing's gonna change my love for you
You ought to know by now how much I love you
One thing you can be sure of,
I'll never ask for more than your love.
