My name is Robert. Rob for short. I live with my family in New York. My family is rather large: I have got an older brother and a younger sister. And now we have a pet – Wetty.
On the 22 of October my brother and I went for a walk. The weather was windy, and they said on TV that it may rain too. So we wore jackets and wellies. My brother also took an umbrella. It was big enough for the two of us, so I didn’t take my umbrella. We walked in the park. The park near our house is big like a forest. And then it started to rain indeed. Suddenly, we saw a small kitten under a tree. It was all wet and cold. The kitten was grey, with large green eyes and a long thin tail.
- Poor kitten! Brother, let’s take it home, please!
- Ok. We will call it Wetty, because it is very wet now. – my brother laughed.
We took Wetty home and gave him some milk and sausages. He was very hungry! He ate three sausages and then fell asleep. In the evening I played hide-and-seek with Wetty. It was great!
